Prompt to Project

Use autopilot to create a standalone chat session from a natural-language prompt.

About Prompt Creation

The prompt creation page starts a chat session in your Amazon Web Services (AWS) account. You describe the system you want to run, select an available model, and submit the prompt.

Creating a Prompt-Based Session

Follow these steps to start a standalone autopilot workspace and create a sandbox session that can build and preview your application code.

Before you start

You must configure at least one coding agent provider by choosing Settings > Coding Agent in the sidebar.

Steps

  1. Choose Prompt on the platform home page.
  2. Select a model from the model selector.
  3. Type a description of the application or system you want to build.
  4. Click Start.

What happens next

The control plane creates a chat session and opens the AI chat workspace for your new sandbox.
